Our strategy team contains a wide range of multidisciplinary expertise.
Strategy
- Rich Taunt writes widely on strategy for the BMJ, Guardian and HSJ, with senior leadership experience including at CQC, Health Foundation and the Department of Health and Social Care.
- Shane Carmichael has 20 years’ experience of delivering effective strategy, leadership development and organisation improvement programmes and systems of regulation across public and private sectors.
Clinical
- Ted Adams is a consultant obstetrician and NHS Medical Director and has experience across the NHS and internationally at Kaiser Permanente in California.
- Sir David Haslam has been Chair of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), President of the British Medical Association, and both Chair and President of the RCGP.
NHS leadership
- Clare Allcock has held a range of leadership roles across national, regional and local NHS organisations.
- Jess Tudor-Williams has more than 20 years’ experience working in NHS management, including in acute delivery, commissioning and regional management.
Staff and stakeholder engagement
- Zoë Horwich brings a range of perspectives developed during 15 years working in Parliament, membership organisations, consultancy and global healthcare corporations.
- Samira Ben Omar has more than 20 years’ experience of working in grassroots community and voluntary, public health, local authority and NHS commissioning sectors.
Our strategy approach and expertise is deliberately designed to work alongside our wider services, including organisational development, and research and evaluation. We also collaborate with a range of partner organisations such as Frontier Economics, Arup, and Ipsos.
