Kaleidoscope sponsors Dalmain Athletic Girls Football Club

Kaleidoscope Health and Care is delighted to be the new sponsors for Dalmain Athletic Girls Football Club. The club, based in Honor Oak, South East London, was established in 2011 to encourage girls to get into football.  The sponsorship will last until next year and is part of Kaleidoscope’s mission to create a future that is kinder, connected and more joyful.

Annelise Jespersen, part of Kaleidoscope, said:

“A lot of us at Kaleidoscope love football, and we saw this as the perfect opportunity to support a local organisation that shares our values. Dalmain is much more than a football club, it supports young women to learn new skills, to push themselves and to build their self esteem.

“I told the girls that when I started playing football as a child, women’s football was still essentially banned by The Football Association, so it’s particularly nice to be able to support a new generation of girls’ football stars in our community.”

Graham Curtis, Welfare Officer at Dalmain Athletic, said:

“We’re really grateful to Kaleidoscope for this sponsorship, it means a lot to a small community club like us.  Dalmain Athletic is an inclusive team, but stuff like the cost of a kit can be a barrier for some kids. This sponsorship means we can give two teams of girls a kit for free and they can wear it with pride.”

We asked Elishah, Olive and Scarlet what they think of the new kit and what they are hoping for this season.
