Now we are 5

It has been a busy and unpredictable 60 months. This is quite a milestone for our not-so-little team.

Every 5-year-old is special, but whether they are bookish or boisterous or a bit of both, they are nearly always quick learners.

That is true for us too. We’ve learned a lot and we feel so much more confident that what we do is making the difference we want to see in the world.

We’ve nurtured health networks, bringing together people to connect, share their learning and reduce health inequalities in four countries. We’ve created learning partnerships, joining up learning, improvement, creating communities that share their best ideas and making it enjoyable for more than 3,000 people.

In the five years since our start in 2016 we’ve helped 79 organisations tap into their potential, create ambitious strategies with their staff and transform how they operate. These include:

  • 30 charities
  • 24 NHS organisations
  • 12 research institutions
  • 8 government agencies
  • 5 businesses.

Clients like us…

Here are some of the things that they have said about us:

We could not have delivered our programme without Kaleidoscope. They bring a combination of in-depth knowledge of health and care, forensic thinking, creativity and fun.

Professor Alf Collins, Clinical Director for Personalised Care, NHS England

Kaleidoscope’s ability to design and deliver innovative events to engage stakeholders and resolve local issues was crucial to the success of the programme.

Luke Hunka, Deputy Director and Senior Advisor at NHSEI

I’m so pleased to have the Kaleidoscope team’s expertise and thoughtfulness on this project, helping us and our partners to get maximum value from the network.

Jessica Attard, Portfolio Manager for the childhood obesity programme at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation

People who come to our events like us…

Our events score an average of 4.6 stars out of 5 in feedback, and 94% of people would recommend them to a friend.

Let’s not forget our mission to create a future that is kinder, more connected and joyful.

We’ve run 20 mission projects delivering kindness, connection and joy through:

  • 60 free Fresh Conversation/Melting Pot events, bringing together 900 people who wouldn’t usually get to talk to each other
  • a mental health film festival
  • a Zine highlighting LGBTQIA+ experiences of eating disorders
  • the world’s biggest health science fiction writing prize
  • an interactive guide to networks
  • a campaign for joy in work
  • an under 12s football team.

We want to keep getting better and spread some birthday joy

Please fill in our short survey and tell us what you think of us.

We’ll be sending some lucky responders a cake (or a lovely basket of fruit if that’s more your thing) to say thanks.
