ABC Chat: bringing people together while apart

Feeling isolated and disconnected during this difficult time? Tune in to ABC Chat - a weekly half hour live discussion on different topics - to remain apart but connected.

ABC: Apart, but connected. Depending on your job, there’s a fair chance that your world’s been turned upside down. You may feel like you’ve never been busier, or that everything other than you-know-what has been forgotten about.

But the other things haven’t gone away, and neither has the need for connection. ABC Chat will try (it might succeed, it might flop famously) to help build connection with others in the health and care world even if we can’t see them face to face.

ABC: Anything but covid. OK, this isn’t going to be a strict rule, but we do want to give space to topics that aren’t about the under supply of ventilators or hand sanitiser, or the over supply of Facebook memes about social distancing.

Each week, we’ll have a guest telling their story about a topic that may have relevance to covid, but isn’t that. We’ll also be raising ridiculous mugs, and giving standing ovations to those who need it.

Take part

Taking part is easy and there’s no need to sign up – just find your way to the Kaleidoscope YouTube channel on Thursdays at 11am, and join the conversation on Twitter using #ABCchat.
