Change NHS: online staff events guide

These pages give you all the information you should need for taking part in a Change NHS online event.

Thank you so much for signing up for our Change NHS staff online events. We are delighted that you have chosen to join us and share your views on how we can best make the NHS fit for the future and develop a 10 Year Health Plan.

Ahead of your event, we wanted to share some important information to ensure that you get the most out of the session.

What we will be discussing during the events

These series of events focus on the three big shifts in healthcare to make the NHS fit for the future, moving it from:

  • hospital to community
  • analogue to digital
  • sickness to prevention.

In each session, we will be joined by an expert panel of people working in different parts of the health and care system who will reflect on what the shift means for them.

Throughout the session, we will be asking for your views, experiences and ideas across a range of areas.

We are particularly interested in:

  • ensuring you have the opportunity to share your experience and ideas to inform the development of the 10 Year Health Plan
  • sharing back what we have heard from staff and the public in the engagement so far and getting your perspective on what we have heard
  • focusing on key tensions that have emerged from the engagement and understand in more detail what it means for staff.

The events are open to all staff across the NHS, social care and public health. Each session will be repeated at different times and on different days of the week.

You can sign up for a session on a different shift topic.

How you can share your views during the session

Due to the large number of people joining the sessions, chat will be turned off and participants will have their cameras off and stay on mute.

We will use Menti to collect all your views and ideas throughout the session. We will be taking away all the insights to feed into the development of the 10 Year Health Plan. Menti is anonymous and no particular comment will be attributable to you.
