Lisa Finnikin
Lisa Finnikin is part of our family of Associates.
Lisa has worked as a doctor for the last 15 years, and recently retired from a career as a GP. Her dream is for patients to receive a high standard of compassionate, personalised care from healthcare professionals, and that those professionals are able to work in systems where their wellbeing is equally prioritised.
She is currently exploring new ways to provide support to people ensuring their humanity is handled with care and that community is seen as an essential building block of creating wellbeing.
Lisa is a writer and enjoys exploring the power of language in understanding our human experience. She writes for several GP websites and has started a blog and a podcast, ‘a wonky life’ where she explores the thoughts in her head.
Lisa lives with her husband and three smallish children near Lichfield and is often tired but despite this remains a hopeful human.
