From ‘let’s collaborate’ to ‘let’s collaborate effectively’
Join us to learn more about what really sets a high-performing collaboration apart from the rest. This event is part of Collective Leadership for Scotland's Illuminating Leadership Festival.
It’s more important than ever that collaboration is at the heart of leadership, system change and integration.
But how do we actually collaborate? And, crucially, how do we collaborate effectively?
We looked at the evidence base and existing high-performing collaborations. What we found was that while the purpose and activities can vary widely, successful collaborations consistently share a set of eight characteristics.
For it to be meaningful, collaboration needs to be planned and conducted with rigour.
Join our introduction to effective collaboration. In this free online event, we will:
- explore the characteristics of effective collaborations
- examine how they can be applied in the context of integrating health and social care services and what that means for your leadership
- delve into what you can do to ensure your collaboration is making a real impact
- learn how these characteristics can guide organisations and individuals to understand their collaborations’ strengths, to collaborate effectively and to create more value together.
