Nurturing community models of care

Join us for this Fresh Conversation on the need for new models of community support to connect the willing helpers with those requiring support.

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, 9 million people have stepped up to support others – and 70% say they want to continue doing this in some way.

So how can we nurture community models of care that work alongside other services?

Our conversation will be started by Iona Lawrence, who was founding director of the Jo Cox Foundation, and Imogen Robinson from The Relationships Project.

Join us online on Wednesday 8 October, 12:30 to 14:00.

What is a Fresh Conversation?

It’s a simple concept: we bring together people from across health and care to discuss interesting and important issues, challenge each other and connect.

The events are free, we host some online and some face to face. What matters is the quality of conversation and the diversity of the people there. Fresh Conversations are about mixing up different perspectives and people who may not otherwise have opportunities to meet.

A little something else? If you found this of interest, then we’d suggest taking a look at some related items. And when you’re ready to chat, you can get in touch.
